We are thrilled to share that Center for Big Bend Studies Director, Bryon Schroeder, has been selected as the recipient of the Sul Ross State University Outstanding Scholar Award for 2022—2023. We are so proud that our organization was recognized for its scholarship, and we look forward to producing more research on the archaeology of the Big Bend in the coming year!
