The Archaeology Club is a registered and recognized student organization at Sul Ross State University. Founded in 2023, the goal of the Archaeology Club is to introduce students to the subject of archaeology and to archaeological research in West Texas. We also want to create a community to foster collaboration and information sharing among Sul Ross students. Undergraduate and graduate students from any major or program are welcome and encouraged to join and participate in Archaeology Club events.
The purpose of the SRSU Archaeology Club is to:
- Introduce students to archaeology and archaeological research in West Texas.
- Create a community to foster collaboration and information sharing among SRSU students.
- Encourage student participation in hands-on archaeological activities and research.
Monthly Meetings
- First Thursdays from September to December, and February to May.
