San Esteban Rockshelter

The 2021 CBBS-SRSU ANTH 3601 Summer Field School will be taught at the San Esteban Rockshelter near Marfa, Texas. This is a rare chance to work at a dry rockshelter in gorgeous West Texas.
Course content will cover:
- Collections management
- Excavation methods
- Mapping instruments
- Photogrammetry
- Development and implementation of collaborative research designs
- Perishable artifact research
