CBBS Publications

The Center for Big Bend Studies produces two annual publications: Journal of Big Bend Studies and the newsletter, La Vista de Frontera. In addition to these, the center publishes occasional papers, reports in contract archeology and other publications. Many of these are available for purchase from the CBBS Store.

Trans-Pecos Archaeological Program (TAP) Publications

The Trans-Pecos of far west Texas is one of the archeologically richest—but scientifically most poorly known—regions of Texas. Reports in Contract Archaeology

The Center for Big Bend Studies publishes and makes available to the public reports from the cultural resources management services they have provided to both the public and private sectors.


Occasional Papers

In 1996 is the Center for Big Bend Studies established a new publication series, called Occasional Papers, which allows the Center to publish book-length studies of an interdisciplinary nature.
